Hawaii
Technology Institute students at the Waianae Health Academy (WHA) were presented with
educational gifts by Ernie Balaski, a staff member of Waianae Health Academy.
The school/internships
gifts were a welcome surprise to the students who sometimes struggle with
getting needed supplies for classroom and internship activities given the
economic situations prevalent in many of their homes and in Hawaii today.
These gifts
will be invaluable and hearts were deeply warmed by the kind gesture. HTI is appreciative of the support given to its
students by the Waianae Health Academy staff and look forward to continued
collaborations to serve residents on the Waianae Coast through training and
education and improving quality of lives, one student at a time!
