As we
celebrate 25 years of serving Hawai`i residents, we acknowledge the kind hands
and hearts of many who have supported us along the way.
In this 25th
anniversary donation drive, we are reaching out to communities and
organizations and individuals statewide to help us as we move forward to
another chapter of our school’s journey and to support us in our mission to “Educate! Empower!
Excel!” Donors are
encouraged to contribute a dollar for every year the school has been in
existence – hence, the “25 for 25” motto!
The funds raised from this 25th anniversary donation drive will contribute to
scholarships and tuition assistance for financially disadvantaged students
and facilitate our move to a new home when our lease expires in January
2013.
Hawai`i Technology Institute
gives everyone who walks through its doors the feeling of “coming home.” It is a place where the people who welcome
you and work with you have walked down similar life paths and know about
possibilities and potential and sacrifice and suffering and the importance of
self-empowerment.
In the last 25 years, over 3,000
residents of Hawai`i have graduated from accredited and non-credit and have
gone on to establishing themselves in companies and organizations statewide –
and continue to make a difference in their lives, their families and
communities in immeasurable ways.
