US District Courts in the House!

 Every Wednesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., federal parolees from the Federal Detention Center join our evening crew at HTI for “Responsible Thinking / Healthy Personality,” an interactive journaling experience designed to promote positive life change.

The class and the journaling curriculum were created as a tool to help ex-offenders self-facilitate positive personal growth and subsequent reintegration into society.  The journal used is part of “The Courage to Change” Interactive Journaling© System.  It gives an opportunity for participants to examine their thinking in order to solidify objectivity and accuracy.  It also helps participants recognize the errors in their thinking that could get them in trouble while helping them to understand how such errors in thought support an irresponsible lifestyle.
