HTI Partners with Kamehameha Schools

Hawaii Technology Institute is collaborating with Kamehameha Schools to offer computer and life skills classes at the Kamehameha Schools Community  Learning Center at Nanakuli beginning April 2008.

The computer classes will cover Microsoft Word & Excel and will run for 5 weeks.  The focus of the 3-week life skills component of the program will be self-discovery and awareness, conflict resolution, and health and wellness tips for individuals and families.   The program will be offered in two series with the first one beginning in April and the second series beginning in May.

I am excited about this collaboration as it will provide a chance for participants to gain computer and life skills that may have positive implications far beyond the walls of the classroom.  HTI will continue to reach out to communities on Oahu and pursue education and training opportunities that will positively impact the students that HTI is privileged to serve,” says Naomi Digitaki, HTI President/CEO and a Waianae Coast resident.

For additional information or to enroll in these classes, please contact the Kamehameha Schools Community Learning Center at Nanakuli.  (Phone 668-1517)
