Hawai`i Community
Foundation Grant to Fund HTI’s Career Transition Program
Hawai‘i Technology Institute has received a $15,000 grant from
Hawai`i Community Foundation (HCF) to support the literacy component of the
Institute’s Career Transition Program.
This is the third consecutive year that HCF has supported HTI’s
literacy program. In the past 3 years, HCF
funds have been instrumental in assisting many students in gaining the literacy
skills needed to pursue further education and/or training.
“The Hawai`i Community Foundation’s support of our literacy
efforts is vital to the success of students at HTI and we are encouraged to see
lives and families changed for the better, directly and indirectly, from
participation in the literacy component of the CTP program” said Naomi
Digitaki, President/CEO.
